A holiday to Rajasthan is every tourists dream .Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan is also known as the pink city due to the pink sandstone buildings it has.

At Jaipur places of special interest are City Palace which also houses the famous Chandra Mahal and the Mubarak Mahal .Next is the world famous Hawa Mahal which is built like a pyramid and has 953 windows or 'Jharokhas'. the Jantar Mantar which has the worlds largest stone sundial is another landmark it is also included in the UNESCO world heritage sites.

The Unique Pushkar fair is a not to be missed opportunity it is famous all over the world as a fair where Camels or livestock is sold . held in the Kartik month or between October and November The fair coincides with the pilgrimage to Pushkar lake where many cultural programmes like colourful Rajasthani dances, traditional cultural events like cow milking competition ,tug of war between men and women, turban tying competition ,longest moustache competition are held .

The Apteshwar temple, Varaha temple and Brahma temple are also famous tourist attractions .

While still in the deserts a camel safari or a desert safari is another adventure worth its name ,one gets to spend ones vacation in the deserts under the open sky. While camels are used in camel safaries SUV are used in the desert safari.

Pay a visit to the wild life sanctuaries Sariska Tiger Reserve ,Ranthambore National Park, Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and get to see some of the best wildlife and birds. There are Tigers, wild boars, bears,tigers several species of birds.
